Echinopsis Chamaecereus Luisramirezii can be found in Argentina and Bolivia. They differ from the other chamaecereus peanut cacti due to their thinner and longer stems. Their spines are adpressed, soft, bristle-like, and white and they radiate.
They are fairly easy to grow and suited for hanging baskets and their stems will be long as they mature. Chamaecereus grow in well-drained soil in a sunny spot. Ensure they receive moderate water in the summer months. Peanut cacti do need the winter rest to produce an abundance of beautiful orange flowers in the summer, so cut back on the water during the cool months.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR ROOTING CUTTINGS 
Cuttings should be placed either 1" - .5" deep into the soil or left laying atop it; roots are commonly visible after two weeks. Bright shade should be provided for the rooting period and watering should be done sparingly when the soil is dry. Gradually increase sun exposure to avoid leaf burn.
